Mary-Michael Rodgers has worked in marketing field for fifteen years. She is currently the Communications Manager for Boise Centre and the Greater Boise Auditorium District. As Communications Manager she is responsible for overseeing media relations, community relations and special projects. Mary-Michael has served on the Western Idaho Fair Board, has been a Girl Scout leader, a soccer coach and member of several professional organizations.

Kelly Sasso has over 20 years’ experience as a Public Relations and Marketing professional in the technology industry. She is currently the Public Relations Senior Manager for Micron’s Consumer Products Group, overseeing global PR strategy and execution for the company’s consumer-facing brands, Crucial and Ballistix. Sasso holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Idaho. Kelly also enjoys volunteering in the community as a Make-A-Wish Wish Granter and behind the scenes at Story Story Night’s Slammer Booth.

David N. Compton, APR

David N. Compton, APR

Compton is a founding member of the PRSA Idaho chapter and served as its first president. He owns Compton Communications, a public relations and web development company located in Eagle, Idaho.  Compton was the senior technology strategist and administrator for MicronPC and served as U.S. Air Force Web Information Service Officer in Washington DC. He became accredited in Public Relations in 1993.

Rick Phillips, APR


Rick Phillips

Phillips is the Public Affairs Manager for J.R. Simplot Company. He was a founding member of the Idaho chapter of PRSA and has served as the organizations treasurer since 2005.  He is also the past chair of the Greater Idaho Chapter of the American Red Cross and is a member of the St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital Advisory Board. He became accredited in public relations 1997.

Sheri Davis


Sheri Davis is a native Idahoan and enjoyed growing up in a rural community in Southwestern Idaho. Sheri and her husband Steve enjoy spending time with their four grown children and two grandchildren. They are outdoor enthusiasts and have fun traveling, hiking, biking, running, and skiing. They have two dogs (a chocolate and a black lab), are avid BSU football fans, and enjoy tailgating and attending BSU games with good friends. Professionally, Sheri has 17 years' experience executing local marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and community relations events for CenturyLink. Sheri graduated from BSU and holds a B.B.A in Marketing.

Mary Frances Casper

Casper is an Associate Professor of Communication at Boise State University and serves as the Public Relations Certificate Program Director. She is the faculty advisor to the PRSSA chapter at Boise State University and is a dedicated member of the PRSA Educator’s Academy, the National Communication Association, and the International Communication Association.

Nicole Kinney

Nicole Kinney is a Marketing and Communications Associate at Strategies 360, where she develops and executes strategic communications and marketing campaigns on behalf of her clients. Nicole is a Boise State University alumna, and is currently pursuing another degree in Graphic Design. Nicole also sits on the board of Learning Lab.
