Julie Fogerson
Board Member, APR
Julie Fogerson has nearly 25 years of communications experience, beginning her career at agencies in Seattle and New York, primarily serving technology accounts such as Microsoft. She was a Wells Fargo regional communicator for eight years, covering internal and external communications for 12 markets throughout the United States. Julie currently manages her own consulting business, charting strategy and creating content for clients in technology, finance, healthcare, and more. She is also an adjunct professor, teaching courses in digital marketing, business communications, and employee engagement.
A gluttonous polyglot, an ocean ogler, and a tireless traveler, Julie has spent time on every continent (including Antarctica, where she sat amongst penguins and gazed at a glacier). She’s a published writer (fiction and fascinating facts), and she once got to grace the Seattle International Film Festival’s silver screen, acting in a film short she co-wrote and produced.
Julie has a BA in Communications from Hawaii Pacific, an MS in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution from Creighton, and a doctoral degree in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton. She earned her APR in 2017 and has been a member of the PRSA Idaho board for the past six years. She is a Leadership Boise graduate and served as a founding board member for Future Public School, which launched in 2018.
