Randy’L Teton
DEI Liaison
Teton has worked in communications and public relations for over twenty years and is a Public Affairs/Tribals Relations Specialist with the U.S. Forest Service Office of Communications. She also serves on the board of the Idaho Humanities Council and is a member of the Pocatello Rotary Club. Prior to joining the Forest Service, Teton served as the Public Affairs Manager for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes for eleven years and was the main point of contact for tribal, state and federal government relations. Additionally, from 2000-2002, Teton travelled with the U.S. Mint promoting the new Native American Dollar Coin featuring Sacajawea and her son Jean Baptiste.
In her role as DEI Liaison, Teton will help connect tribal public relations practitioners and other underrepresented groups to PRSA Idaho and develop resources to support their professional growth. She plans to enhance the DEI toolkit with an emphasis on tribal relations that can be available as a resource for PR professionals, in Idaho and beyond.
